Now is the time for Rosé

Domaine de Tamary

Excellent Rosé from Provence – $10 on a case buy

2016 Domaine De Tamary

Summer is Rosé time! Rosé is trendy! More and more wine lovers are drinking dry Rosé wines from around the world. This excellent wine comes from the area of Provence. I discovered this 2016 Domaine De Tamary at Cost Plus World Market. If you mix-or-match a case of wine, the sale price is $9.99 each (sale ends on September 5.) The average price on this wine is $18.  I purchased several bottles of this wine because I so enjoyed the beautiful and elegant taste of this dry but crisp wine. It is easy drinking and hard to put down. Don’t worry about having that an extra glass, the alcohol is 12%.  Although the wine is tasty for any occasion, the Domaine De Tamary comes alive in the outdoors in a warm weather setting. The light pink color plays on the mind. You just know it will refresh and bring cool delights to outdoor relaxation and cooking. Everything about this wine is lively and cooling.  The Domaine De Tamary is a blend of 45% Grenache, 35% Cinsault, 15% Mourvèdre and 5% Rolle. I rank it at 89 Points; the consensus on Wine-Searcher is 88 Points.

I like pairing the 2016 Domaine De Tamary with light appetizers, sandwiches and Padron Peppers. Have you been to Provence? It is a very lovely part of France.
